Last summer, my family and I went to Hawaii for a holiday! We flew across the Pacific to the tiny island (岛屿) from Beijing. After we booked into a hotel, we rested. Our journey started the next day and lasted for two weeks. During our stay there, we ate delicious food and drank much fruit juice. The Hawaiians (夏威夷人) were very proud of their special food, often 'spiced up' with slices of juicy pineapple and strings of delicious cheese.

There were also fantastic beaches right across the tiny atoll (环状珊瑚岛). The water was sparkling (闪闪发光的) blue and the sand

dunes (沙丘) radiated (散发) with an inviting (吸引人的) warmth of gold.

According to a new report, 73 percent of Chinese travellers would like to visit Britain if they have a chance. And London was the most popular city among travellers from China. An average of 144,000 Chinese visitors visited London between 2004 and 2018, compared to 35,000 in Edinburgh every year. Other hot cities were Manchester, Cambridge, and Oxford.

More than 250,000 holidaymakers from China spent more than 500,000,000 pounds in the United Kingdom last year. That number is expected to rise. Visit Britain, the UK's tourism body, said Chinese tourists visited Britain for its ancient buildings and modern culture. Buckingham Palace tops the list of the most popular places of interest in the UK with 35 percent of those surveyed saying it was on their to-do-list. The next two are Chatsworth House and Edinburgh Castle. Places that provide a bird's eye view of London are also popular. The Shard and London Eye are on many people's visiting lists. The report read: "They are mostly interested in symbolic elements: the Royal Family, Shakespeare, Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter and Downton Abbey. The Chinese visits abroad more than doubled in five years, from about 41 million overnight stays in 2011 to 85 million in 2016. By 2020, there is thought to be 110 million trips overseas."

But few are interested in the UK's traditional food. They think it's not good to eat. According to Visit Britain, fewer than one in ten said they would have fish and chips at the seaside. It noted that Chinese holidaymakers might enjoy delicious wine, cheese and milk products, dessert etc. However, many Chinese tourists would like to have Chinese food once in a while.

Dear Sam,

I stay at a hotel on the coast. There is a beautiful swimming pool. There is a beach, too. I like Chinese food. It is delicious. My room and meals cost only 200 a day. Every day after a big breakfast, I spend the morning on the beach. Then I go sightseeing, such as Yalong Bay, Luhuitou, Tianyahaijiao and so on. After that, I usually sleep for a few hours. Shanghai Disneyland opened on June 16, 2016. It began selling tickets on March 28 through several ways: the official website, Alitrip website and the central phone. Its price is the lowest of all the Disney theme parks. So far, quite a lot of people have booked tickets.

The park is built in the 963-acre field and costs 5.5 billion. Almost 400 designers and engineers have taken part in the design work. The Disney castle in Shanghai is the tallest and largest one in the Disney family around the world.

When you visit Shanghai Disneyland, you can follow the advice.

Buy souvenirs (纪念品) in advance (提前). Disney is so popular that it is easy to find these souvenirs anywhere. It isn't necessary for you to buy them at Disneyland because they are too expensive there. You can save a lot of money in this way.

Eat breakfast before you arrive. You can save quite a bit of money by eating breakfast before you go to the park.

Take snacks with you. You can enjoy them in the picnic area because the snacks there are too expensive.
